@Rustdill Don SA'd somebody and had the audacity to base CG off of the victim. It sucks, but hopefully, things get better for the character and the victim (emphasis on VICTIM) and not so much for don, who really should be punished for what he did, even if it was a year and a half ago.
@F0XxGirlPWR From what I know, he somewhat based CG off of Lex (the victim in question) while they were dating (which was 2017-2018), and the incident happened in 2021. I agree he should be punished though, either by being jailed or just being banned off of social media altogether.
@PrincessElis Softdon did say in his last Twitter post that she's really based off something on Soundcloud and not Lex
@F0XxGirlPWR Honestly now CG's origins confuse me. In her video, Lex said that Don took inspiration from her to make CG (and some other characters), but now Don says that he based CG off of some Soundcloud thing... it's inconsistent. Either way, it doesn't help the character's case, since her creator is already controversial at this point and I doubt many people are gonna support him after recent stuff.
@PrincessElis Yeah, but the fnf subreddit has been posting a lot about it and some people have some excellent points, and somebody in the replies of Don's last tweet pointed something out while other people had some really good points, but I'm personally taking it all with a grain of salt. (sorry for the run-on sentence)
@F0XxGirlPWR It's fine. Personally I don't exactly believe Don (hell, I think he just tried to "alleviate" the backlash by claiming CG was based on something else, even despite the similarities to Lex being known by then), and at this point I think it's best if both the developers of FNF and Rushdown Rivals just drop his creation due to all of this (even if how Lex described everything was misconstrued somehow, the damage is still done and there's no way anyone is gonna sweep it under the rug; it's ESPECIALLY bad for SuperMega since this is mostly about them as well).
@PrincessElis Yep, I just hope Lex can recover from this whole ordeal and CG can hopefully someday come back in a new light without the association with Don or Lex.
